Warranty & Returns

Warranty

We will assist our customers with any issues that may arise in relation to products they purchase through Cricket Gear Direct. Please note however, each warranty claim will be treated on a case-by-case basis.

Any cricket bat sold by us is subject to a 12 month manufacturers warranty for any damage deemed to be not the fault of the customer or other person using the bat.. No warranty claim will be successful for bats damaged from insufficient preparation (i.e. knocking-in), improper use, extended use, water/moisture damage or trauma such as a cracked/split toe.

Dependant on the nature of the warranty claim, at the manufacturers discretion, they may choose to repair or replace the item in question. However it is the customer's responsibility for shipping costs back to us and then from us back to them after inspection of or rectification of the claim.

Please contact us via email with details and pictures of the item in question. Once we have reviewed your claim and agree that the warranty claim be accepted, we will respond to you and provide information on how to proceed.

When the manufacturer has inspected the item and reached a conclusion concerning the warranty claim, the customer will be notified of the outcome, being either the item repaired, credited for refund/replacement/exchange or the warranty claim being refused.

Please note that due to the general nature of a cricket ball hitting the surface of the bat at high speeds, a surface crack and various other minor blemishes caused to your bat does not constitute a warranty claim and is a common occurrence that does not affect the performance of a bat. The best way to prevent this is to ensure correct bat preparation prior to using it.
